If you were one of the lucky ones who attended this year's Decorative Countertop Industry Conference held in Sacramento California, you would have enjoyed meeting with today’s leading countertop manufacturers in the world. Cheng, Buddy Rhodes, SureCrete, were just some of this years Vendors. This conference offered attendees a terrific view of products, tools, seminars and onsite demonstrations. Giving contractors a “bleeding edge” as to where this industry is going.

We interviewed many manufactures, and put together an awesome show. If you’re want to see the show, we’ll soon have it available on our website under the tab-link “Everything Concrete Show” and look for the video. It was exciting interviewing each of the companies and watch all the new products be demonstrated. It was a great turn out of guest speakers and industry professionals. All the new products, tools and latest techniques were on display. SureCrete was one of the manufacturers I enjoyed interviewing and watching them manufacture a new countertop.

Jack Thomas of SureCrete gave a terrific presentation of their “Extreme Countertop” mix. After watching them mix, pour and cure a sample in their booth, I was amazed and couldn’t wait to try it for myself. They were all very nice and helpful. I purchased 8 bags of countertop mix and had it delivered.

While waiting for the delivery, I purchased the rubber for my form and manufactured some quick supports to create the table in my video. I had never used their product before, and from only a breif conversation with one of their salesmen (Chris) I was mixing, forming and pouring an easy fun and fast tabletop that is stronger than any other countertop I’ve seen.
